Gateway to Uptown – Cincinnati, Ohio

Project Description

This proposed LEED silver project will have a far reaching neighborhood presence. The hotel tower will be a visual beacon seen at great distances from all major arterial entry points, and becomes a defining Gateway between Cincinnati’s uptown and downtown neighborhoods. Above a 350+ car parking garage, the development incorporates an extended stay hotel, residential apartments for an over 55 active adult community, an event center designed to accommodate multiple types of events from corporate to weddings, two restaurants, and a crowning rooftop bar offering spectacular views of the city.  A pleasurable user experience and the engagement of the public are anticipated through the provision of on-site amenities , such as the “Steps on Vine” leading to the “Hotel Plaza”  and  the more intimate “St. George’s Square” that will connect to the revitalization of a historic church. Also residential green roof-top gardens along McMillan and multiple outdoor rooftop gathering spaces for the hotel provide destinations for a variety of social activities.
